Hi! I'm a Gen-X "latchkey kid" who spent nearly 4 decades managing my feelings and poor boundaries with food. By 2003, I was 300 pounds and spent another 15 years yo-yo'ing up and down the scale until age 41 when I finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Since then I've lost 145 pounds and have kept it off for almost 5 years implementing small, sustainable lifestyle changes. I've co-hosted the health and wellness podcast, the "We Only Look Thin" Podcast, with my husband (he's lost 100 pounds!) for the last 4 years, and I have been virtual group-coaching women on their health journeys for the last 5 years.
My virtual coaching focuses on helping women take charge of their mindset, personal boundaries, and eating habits to achieve healthy weight loss and sustainable weight maintenance. I use the Tiny Habits framework to give the women I work with the tools they can use to troubleshoot problems, brainstorm solutions, and implement Tiny Habits into their busy lives.
I never thought it was possible to finally lose the weight for good, but I'm delighted to say I was wrong about myself, and I love helping other women prove themselves wrong too!
