Janine Nelson has nearly 15 years of experience in human resources in higher education. Her professional HR experience encompasses job placement, compensation, recruitment and employee relations. She has managed successful teams for over a decade.
During her career, Janine has learned an investment in the physical and emotional well-being of employees is essential to the success of a workplace. As a Tiny Habits® Certified Coach, Janine focusses work on behavior change through small steps and positive emotions with a focus on an organizational culture of gratitude. Janine also conducts individual personalized behavior change coaching with the same energetic and fun approach as she applies in the business environment.
Janine earned Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento. Within the HR field, Janine maintains an HRCI SPHR certification and a SHRM-SCP certification.
