My mission is to help you create policy with impact. My motto is ‘best practices need best people’. I help government officials, managers, policy makers and practitioners in the social and security sector become more impactful in their work.

Hi, I’m Amy-Jane Gielen, PhD and founder of Evidence Based Work. I combine more than 15 years of policy research experience and teaching policy design courses at the University of Amsterdam with the Tiny Habits Method.

What works, for whom, under what circumstances and how? My PhD dissertation revolved around this question. It is also the reason why I fell in love with the Tiny Habits Method, because it is all about finding out what works for you.

My aim is to help you find out what works for you so you can create policy with impact as a focused, productive, balanced and resilient professional.

I am based in the Netherlands, but offer global services. My clients include the European Commission, United Nations, ministries, municipalities, think tanks and NGO’s. My services include coaching, training and policy impact scans.
